Memorials
Memorials are for honoring both the living and the deceased. Monetary donations are given to the library and used to purchase materials chosen with the help of the donor. Bookplates let others know about the memorial. Memorial donation envelopes are available at the front desk. The minimum donation is $25. The form in the envelope should be completed so that acknowledgements can be sent and bookplates made accurately. If the person being honored has/had a special area of interest, a book can be purchased on that subject. If there is no preference by the donor, a book the library needs in its collection will be purchased. The library would prefer to purchase the memorial materials, however, a special interest item in good condition will be accepted. The bookplate naming the honored person along with the donor's name will be placed on the material. Approximately once a month, a list of memorial donations will be published here.
